Case: GG-2026-014
Status: Open
Documentation rating: E
Location: Salem, Massachusetts

The Daniel Low Building — now Rockafellas Restaurant and Colonial Hall — is a downtown Salem landmark tied to reports of apparitions, unexplained disturbances, the “Lady in Blue” photograph, and an alleged security-camera incident in which a glass left a shelf and shattered. The building’s history is well documented; whether those experiences are paranormal remains unresolved.

I got a few stories of this place as this is the last stop on my tour and my normal hang out spot when in Salem.
Over heard story c. 2021;
I was eating at the bar and 2 waitresses were talking about 4 or 5ft behind me so I overheard the whole conversation which went something like this to the best of my recall -
Sarah (new employee at the time) - hey, I went over to the waitress station to put in a order and I got pushed so hard from behind I had to step forward, I turned around and no one was there.
Christina (without missing a beat) - oh, yea... that's happened to all of us.

Story former bartender Tony told me;
Said a weekend in Oct (c.2023) when it was quite busy a man came up to him asking if there was another bathroom as the line was long at the ground floor restroom. Tony said yes go down the stairs to the right. He said the man went down and about 4 or 5 mins later he comes running up the stairs in a panic. says something about how 'crazy' it was down there. Tony asked him what was wrong. The main claimed he was washing his hands and the light went out. Reached out felt his way to the switch and flipped it a few times and wouldn't come on. Man said I thought it was just a blown bulb, so I got to the door (for reference door is very old with a simple latch lock) and the lock wouldn't open. I tugged and pulled it and kicked the door for several mins until it finally flew open and that's when I ran up here. Tony said when the crowds calmed down he went downstairs to investigate.  He said when he got there the door was open light was on. He said he flipped the switch and the light turns on/off as expected. And he closed and opened the door without issue. He found nothing of note or why that happened to the man.
