In 1967, strange electrical and physical disturbances plagued a law firm in Rosenheim, West Germany. Fluorescent tubes unscrewed themselves, telephone lines dialed numbers continuously, and heavy office furniture shifted position. Investigated by physicists and parapsychologist Hans Bender, the phenomena correlated directly with 19-year-old secretary Annemarie Schaberl. The case remains a widely cited, intensely debated example of potential recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis.
