Gothic.Black is the home of The Gothic Graveyard: a late-night paranormal network built around a weekly livestream, a community, and a written archive. We explore folklore, witness reports, gothic culture, and the unexplained. We do not ask you to believe. We ask you to listen carefully, look at the documentation, and leave room for mystery.
These forums are the campfire. The archive lives on the site. Discord is the live room, especially on show nights.
THE SITE
The Graveyard Shift is the weekly live show. Friday nights are call-in. Mute any stream you are watching and follow the caller guidelines in Discord if you want on the air.
Case Files are the permanent record. Each published file has a GG number. Read the file first. If you want to talk about that case, use the matching topic in Case File Comments.
The Research Library holds staff-written background for shows, interviews, and reference material that is not itself a case file. Those entries use RL numbers. Discussion for a library entry belongs in Library Comments.
Editorial Policy, privacy, and the other site policies are linked from the Editorial Policy sticky in this forum. Those pages are the authority for how the archive treats a claim.
THE FORUMS
Rules & Editorial Policy is the conduct of the campfire and the standards of the archive. Read User & Member Rules before you post.
Announcements is staff news: schedule, site changes, and show notes. New topics here are staff only.
Topic & Guest Suggestions is where you ask for a subject or a guest, whether from a past episode or one you want us to book.
Database Discussion is tied to the archive.
Case File Comments is for a published GG file. Start from that case, please do not make a second thread in the forum.
Library Comments is for a published RL entry.
- The topical boards are for experiences and research that are not already a published file.
- General Paranormal Talk is for anything that has no better board.
- Hauntings, Spirits & Survival of Consciousness is for apparitions, hauntings, and survival questions.
- The UAP board is for sightings and cases in the sky.
- The cryptid board is for creatures and creature reports.
- Investigation is for method, fieldwork, and how a report gets documented.
- Occult & Folklore is for folk belief, legend, and occult history.
- Government Disclosure & Whistleblowers is for official records, hearings, whistleblower claims, and conspiracy talk about institutional cover-ups. Keep other paranormal topics on their own boards.
- The Lounge (Area 51) is movies, music, politics, and everything else. Keep it civil.
DISCORD
Discord is The Gothic Graveyard server: show chat, the caller queue, and the faster campfire. The same rules apply there. Introduce yourself, pick your roles, and use the channel that matches the subject.
HOW TO START
Read the rules sticky. Say what you came for, and put it on the board that fits. If you are writing about a published case, open that case’s topic. If you are sharing an experience, give the date, the place, and what you actually saw or heard. “I think” and “I saw” are enough. You do not have to prove your claims, just share them.
