The 1952 Washington, D.C. UFO Incident was one of the most significant UFO events in American history. During two weekends in July 1952, unidentified radar targets and visual sightings were reported over the nation's capital. Radar operators at both Washington National Airport and Andrews Air Force Base tracked anomalous objects, while pilots and ground observers reported unusual lights. The incident prompted one of the largest UFO investigations ever conducted by the U.S. Air Force.
