The Meng Zhaoguo Incident is one of the most famous UFO encounter claims in modern Chinese history. Beginning in June 1994 near Phoenix Mountain in Heilongjiang Province, forestry worker Meng Zhaoguo reported a series of encounters involving a luminous object, alleged non-human entities, physical effects, and later abduction claims. The case received extensive attention within Chinese UFO research circles, but the extraordinary portions of the story remain largely dependent on Meng's testimony and have never been independently verified.
