On September 3, 1965, eighteen-year-old Norman Muscarello and two Exeter, New Hampshire police officers—Eugene Bertrand and David Hunt—observed a massive, pulsating red airborne object hovering low over a rural farm. The silent, eighty-foot-diameter craft tilted and maneuvered near high-voltage power lines, illuminating the surrounding landscape before departing. Investigated thoroughly by journalist John G. Fuller and the U.S. Air Force, it remains a premier military-civilian UAP case.
